Free Custom Maps Creation Guide for Magellan Mapping GPS Receivers

The method that is described in this document subsequently combines the use of different applications of software, almost all of free access with exception of the version registered of Oziexplorer.

These applications are changing continuously for which is recommendable to revise the respective places of Internet where are found. To the moment to do this manual, the documentation of how using these applications does not exist in a single document for which the steps explained have developed in base to the practice, the exchange of information with other users and reading and interpreting the documentation isolated that it exists in its places of Internet.

2. To create points, lines and poli lines with Oziexplorer
3. To export files of Oziexplorer to SHP, lines and points
4. To convert areas
5. To import layers to MMO and to create map
6. To publish Map with Joinmaps
7. To enter Map to GPS
